Thanks to the ongoing support of VCU alumni, parents and supporters, the following scholarships foster academic growth and recognize the achievements, community and university involvement, and outstanding potential of our students. Selection for all VCU scholarships is conducted in a nondiscriminatory manner and without regard to applicants’ protected characteristics.

Scholarships

The VCUAA Legacy Endowed Scholarship supports meritorious incoming legacy students who are applying for their initial fall semester at VCU or on the MCV Campus.

The VCUAA Endowed Honors Scholarship is awarded annually to a student in the Honors College majoring in a subject that leads to graduation from the Monroe Park Campus.

The MCVAA Legacy Scholarship recognizes school-based scholars who are recommended by their respective deans for their academic excellence, leadership and/or service to the community and the university.

The Black Alumni Council awards two renewable scholarships. 

  • The Black Alumni Council’s Rodney A. Harry Leadership Scholarship was named after one of the organization’s most accomplished leaders and longest-standing president, Rodney A. Harry. This award supports students who demonstrate leadership, community service and academic success.
  • The Black Alumni Council Merit Scholarship is awarded to full-time students on the Monroe Park Campus who are Pell Grant-eligible and have demonstrated successful academic performance.
